Frequently Asked Questions

I am based in Arnold, North Nottinghamshire. The wedding photography service I offer covers the majority of the East Midlands, mainly focusing on Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Derbyshire although I am more than happy to travel if required (reasonable travel charges would apply).

Your day will be covered in a very relaxed, non-intrusive way, with a documentary-style approach. My aim is to capture those extra special moments without interrupting the natural flow of the day.

Offering a professional and reliable wedding photography service is of paramount importance to me to ensure the full satisfaction of each and every couple. Each and every picture is taken personally by me and I pride myself on the close attention I give to each and every wedding.

With all day coverage as standard from bridal preparations to your first dance, you can be sure your wedding will be documented beautifully throughout, creating memories you can treasure forever.

I realise that no two weddings are the same and that people have different ideas about what they want from their wedding photographer. It is for this reason that I tailor the wedding photography services I offer completely to each couple’s individual requirements, thereby achieving full satisfaction.

I offer a full day’s photography from bridal preparations up to and including your first dance (and beyond if requested).

The package includes:
A pre-wedding meeting or telephone consultation to have an informal chat about any ideas and / or preferences you may have and to enable me to gauge an idea of what you are looking for from your wedding photographs.
A full day’s photography from bridal preparations to your first dance (and beyond if requested).
More than 400 high-resolution JPeg images provided on a USB stick.
A DVD slideshow to a music track of your choice telling the story of your day presented in a stylish presentation box.
A private, password protected online gallery containing all edited images which can be accessed 24 hours per day, 7 days a week by you and your guests for 12 months from the date of your wedding. I can also arrange prints / canvasses / albums etc. after your wedding upon request.

Once you have had an opportunity to look through your images, I would be more than happy to work with you to create an album setting out your favourite pictures from your special day. You can also order prints and / or cavasses of any of the photographs through the website for 12 months from the date of our wedding.

You will receive in excess of 400 high resolution images.

I initially photograph in colour and then when editing, I change some of the images to black and white, depending on what suits the particular image the best. I am also more than happy to change any of the images from colour to black and white (and visa-versa) once you have had an opportunity to look through them.

All the edited images are uploaded to the website and entered into a personalised folder for each couple which is password protected for you to share with family and friends. Again, any prints of images can be ordered directly through the website for a period of 12 months from the date of your wedding. Prices start from just £4.00.

Of course I am more than happy to arrange any group photographs that you would like. Prior to your wedding I will send you a ‘shot list’ for you to complete with details of any ‘must have / preferred’ shots. On our venue visit we can find a perfect spot and layout for them. I will have this list with me on the day of your wedding to ensure all of your wishes are fulfilled.

Not a problem – we will work with the weather to achieve the best possible results for you. The order in which the photographs are taken can be altered as required to accommodate any showers etc. or alternatively we can always find somewhere inside whether that be to pop back inside the church {the pews make great places for the group shots} or inside your reception venue which I’m sure will all be decorated beautifully so there are lots of options.

I have two top professional Canon Digital SLRs, both are use on the day. I also have several Canon prime and zoom lense as well as a tonne of CF cards and camera flashes.

To check if I am available on the date of your wedding please drop me an email via the website using the ‘contact me’ tab. I will then reply to confirm if I am available for your chosen date and to arrange a mutually convenient date and time for us to meet / speak over the telephone to discuss any ideas / preferences you have and for me to be able to show you some examples of my work.

If you are then happy to proceed I will email and / or send a hard copy of a contract confirming your booking. To secure your date a £100 deposit would be required.

Yes, I like to meet up at least once before your wedding day for you to view my portfolio, samples and to have an informal chat to discuss any ideas / preferences you may have.

I also always visit each wedding venue prior to the date of the wedding to have a look around and seek out spots for the best shots!

In the unlikely event of a total photographic failure or cancellation of this contract by either party or in any other circumstances, the liability of one party to the other shall be limited to the total value of this contract. Neither party shall be liable for indirect or consequential loss.
